Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Social Remix (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). We built Social Remix to respect privacy by design—collect only what we need, protect it while we have it, and delete it when we’re done.

Quick summary

  • We don’t sell your personal information.
  • We use data to provide, secure, and improve the Services.
  • We rely on a small set of vetted subprocessors (hosting, analytics, payments).
  • You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting support@socialremix.app.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: name, email, company, role, and authentication data when you sign up or sign in.
  • Billing information: if you purchase a paid plan, our payment provider processes your payment details and shares status (e.g., last 4 digits, expiration, billing address) with us. We don’t store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: product interactions, device and browser info, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps to help us troubleshoot and improve the product.
  • Customer content: prompts, assets, briefs, and campaign settings you create or upload to the Services.
  • Support communications: messages and attachments you send to our support team.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for secure sessions, preferences, and analytics. See “Cookies” below.

How we use information

  • Provide and operate the Services, including authentication, account management, and core functionality.
  • Secure the Services, prevent abuse, and detect fraud or misuse.
  • Measure and improve performance and user experience.
  • Provide customer support and communicate important service updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR/UK GDPR)

We process personal data under these legal bases: (i) to perform our contract with you; (ii) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services; (iii) compliance with legal obligations; and (iv) your consent where required (e.g., certain cookies or marketing emails).

Sharing and subprocessors

We share information with vendors who help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, analytics, email, and payments. These providers only access data to perform work for us and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

We may disclose information if required by law, in response to valid legal requests, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (we’ll notify you where legally required).

AI, prompts, and generated content

  • Customer prompts and generated outputs are your content. We process this data to provide the Services and improve reliability (e.g., safety filters, abuse detection).
  • We do not sell or publish your prompts or outputs.
  • When we use third‑party model providers, data handling follows their enterprise policies and is restricted to service delivery and safety—no training on your inputs unless you explicitly opt in.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Retention depends on account status, legal obligations, dispute resolution needs, and backup requirements. You can request deletion at any time.

Security

We use industry practices to protect data in transit and at rest, including access controls, encrypted connections, least‑privilege, and monitoring. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You also have the right to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information as defined by these laws.

To exercise rights, contact support@socialremix.app. We may need to verify your identity to process the request.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for secure sessions, remembering preferences, and measuring product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without essential cookies.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. We’ll post the updated date above and, when appropriate, notify you by email or in‑app.
